Founder John Strevens developed his passion for craftsmanship while working as a furniture maker in Dublin, Ireland. In 1994, John and his wife Jane relocated to Columbia, South Carolina, where he co-founded the respected construction company Celtic Works.

After spending more than 25 years building a strong reputation in the construction industry, John launched JOST alongside his sons to create a company focused on delivering highly personalized custom home building experiences rooted in craftsmanship and integrity.
