L&D Construction is a Denver-based ADU builder with deep roots in Colorado’s residential construction industry. Founded by Colorado native David Schultz, the company combines decades of family construction experience with hands-on knowledge of Denver’s evolving housing market and urban development landscape.

David grew up around the construction industry through his father, who spent more than 35 years building custom homes across Colorado. A Background Built in Colorado Construction

Before launching L&D Construction, David worked as both a laborer and superintendent for Spanjar Homes in Fort Collins between 2006 and 2009. His experience covered a wide range of residential construction responsibilities, helping him develop a detailed understanding of the building process from the ground up.

In addition to his construction background, David is also involved in a family-owned real estate investment company. That experience provides valuable insight into the investment side of residential development, including long-term property value, rental potential, and strategic housing improvements.

After relocating to Denver in 2009, David established L&D Construction and began remodeling homes and building breweries throughout the city’s growing urban core.

From Personal ADU Project to Specialized ADU Builder
